Action Teams help in the functions of the organization. The following are standing teams that will operate under the direction of a chairperson appointed by the general body.
Membership- To process and maintain a current roster and bio of members and assist in recruiting new members
Finance/Fundraising- To assist the Treasure in the management of the financial matters of the Association. Find ways to raise money for the Association.
Chairperson: Tony Walker (Station 18, 2U)
Public Relations- To advertise CAAFA events and coordinate community service events. Schedule appearances for the Executive Board and attend events of importance to the public image of CAAFA. Edit and publish “Pulse News” the Association newsletter. Maintain all social media outlets, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Women in Fire Service- To deal with in the appropriate manner any problems or concerns that affect the women in CAAFA and CFD
Constitution and Legal- Advise the Executive Board on constitutional questions relative to the Association, it’s activities, and events. To update the constitution at the request of the general body. Monitor all legal action for or against the Association. Keep abreast of legal and political action which may affect the Association.
